Arbor Day Celebration

This event will take place in Northwood, ND this year. A volunteer crew will depart from the Park District offices on Thursday, May 1 and head to Northwood for a tree planting expedition. Northwood suffered many tree losses as a result from a devastating tornado in 2007. The Grand Forks Park District, in collaborative event with East Grand Forks Parks and Recreation, hosts an annual Arbor Day Celebration. Arbor Day is recognized nationally for one week in May each year. It's a celebration of our trees.
