Parks Department

The Parks Department maintains about 850 acres of land, which equals 43 parks and facilities.  The Park Department provides you with a clean, manicured area to hold picnics, family reunions, or simply to relax in the parks.  They also flood and clear the skating rinks, maintaining 10 outdoor ice sheets and park activities buildings and 4 highly utilized indoor ice sheets, throughout the winter months. As a devoted group of parks and recreation professionals, the Parks Department crew will be working to beautify our parks in the spring, summer and fall, and persist in maintaining the rinks in the winter, even on the coldest days.
