Recreation Department
The Recreation Department provides to Grand Forks residents and visitors, special events and recreational sports and activities throughout the year. This relatively small team of recreation professionals organize and execute events such as Summerthing-Kids, Greenway Ski Days, Santa Village and much more! In addition to the special events, our recreation team coordinates many sports related activities as well. Our youth baseball and hockey programs have produced exceptional talent that have successfully entered careers in collegiate athletics as well as some professional level teams. It's the priority of our coordinators to hire qualified coaches and leaders, to assure that your child has the best experience possible, while participating in Park District programming.
