Description: Assist the Parks Department with the general maintenance of buildings and grounds throughout the Park District. Duties include weed whipping, push mowing, shelter cleaning, litter pickup, upkeep of park buildings, landscaping, painting, playground maintenance, and other duties as assigned. Maintaining the beautification of parks and facilities around the Grand Forks area. May have to work in inclement weather. Will work in close, constant view of the general public. Driving a vehicle may occur.
Experience: Experience in operating riding mowers and small tractors preferred.
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years old
Starting Salary: $16/hour
Hours of Work: 35-40 hours/week (weather permitting).
Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Weekdays only
- No evenings or weekends.
- Position is from Mid-May through August.
Other: Valid Driver’s License required.
