With the recent stretch of unseasonably warm weather, the Park District outdoor skating rinks are now closed for the season.
The warm weather has led to standing water and deteriorating ice, creating conditions that are no longer safe for skating. Once the ice reaches this point and turns to slush, it is not able to recover.
We loved seeing the community come together on the ice. We look forward to seeing you back on the ice next winter!❄️

This grant will support Bloomfest, our vibrant spring celebration that brings families, fun, and flowers together in the heart of the community.

Heads up, everyone. Due to the high number of guests attending tonight’s Knight for a Princess event, we have opened registration early at 5:00 pm. This will give families more time to check in and make their way through the photography line comfortably. We cannot wait to see you tonight! 💖👑
Outdoor Rinks Update: The warming houses will remain closed this weekend (1/24-1/25) due to the extreme cold. We will reopen on Monday at 4:00 pm. The outdoor rink located at the ICON Sports Center will be open this weekend.
